OPENC Home Site Map Site Help Search Site

The help section is offered as a quick guide to make your visit to the OPENC site a useful one. These navigational aids will get you around the OPENC site efficiently.

OPENC Banner:

We continue to use the idea of a navigation header and footer, but the new banner incorporates widely used sections of the Web site into one image map. Scroll over the purple banner at the top of the page to locate these four links:
  • OPENC Home Page
  • Site Map
  • Help
  • Search
When entering a project such as Just In Time Training, the navigation of that project will be your guide. And, as before, you can quickly return to our front door by scrolling to the footer at the bottom of each page and selecting the OPENC Home link.

Breadcrumb Navigation:

Return to OPENC Home Page Return to Standards and Assessments You Are at Assessment Resources
Breadcrumbs provide a visual indicator that a particular page has been visited. Use of breadcrumbs on the OPENC site will guide you through three and possibly four layers of content. Each word or word phrase will show you where you have come from and will list the section you are currently visiting. Choosing the preceding "breadcrumb" will take you back to that page. One other thing worth noting is that as you move further into the site the crumb trail changes to a darker gray, ending in black for the current page being viewed.
